Plus points are the hotel is very central near the Town Hall, great view from the higher rooms if you are river side. Rooms are on the large size and very comfortable.



Only negative is that its slightly strange for a large hotel like this in that the reception desk is approached via a long corridor which extends round the corner to the lifts. Unless you frequent the bar, this is the only public area you see so you get the impression that you have rented a room, but thats all there is. The bar area also serves as a restaurant for breakfast and other dining which is an arrangement I do not favour, but there are plenty of alternative eateries nearby.



Price varies in relation to alternatives so I tend to stay here when it looks like a bargain.
