Agriturismo Podere Alberese is set in the Tuscan countryside in the hilly area of the Crete Senesi. This 17th-century farmhouse offers rooms and apartments with wood-beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. Podere Alberese is 6.2 miles outside the town of Asciano. It is ideal for exploring the many medieval villages of the Val d'Orcia and is only 30 minutes' drive from Siena. This stone farmhouse has preserved many of its original features, including exposed brick arches. All rooms and apartments offer views of the Crete Senesi hills and Mount Amiata. The apartments also have cooking facilities and a patio. Breakfast is buffet style. Cooking classes and tasting sessions of local wines and olive oil are all available on site. Staff can also arrange horse riding lessons and excursions around the Crete Senesi.
