Benefit from spring 2013 on with the direct flight connection between Maastricht and Brive (low cost Ryanair)!The Saddlery is a charming. tastefully modernised stone cottage (80m2) situated alongside a moat. with breathtaking views over the Dordogne countryside. It is set within the grounds of a manor house. and backs onto a wood. There is a private garden and patio immediately outside the cottage for sunbathing and bar-b-queing. which overlooks the moat and the grounds of the manor house. There is a 10 yards by 6 yards swimming pool with adjacent jacuzzi. terrace and seating area. This is shared with one other gite and the owner s family. The pool and terrace benefit from beautiful views over the Auvezere valley. There is also a badminton court adjacent to the pool.There are very quiet roads. and even quieter woodland paths. adjacent to the cottage in which to walk and cycle. You can easily walk to the river Auvezere. where you can swim. canoe. or admire the horseshoe falls at La Forge du Savignac. You can also enjoy the sandy beach and watersports at the Lac de Rouffiac-en-Perigord. which is only 10 min drive from the cottage. |
