Inside a Colonial Revival home built in 1912 with wooded gardens, this 7-room B&B is in the Montford Area Historic District, .8 miles from the University of North Carolina Asheville and 6.1 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Elegant rooms are dressed in antique style, several with oriental rugs and all with TV/DVD players and iPod docks. Some have whirlpool baths and/or fireplaces. A separate cabinlike cottage has a private patio and minifridge. There's free Wi-Fi throughout.
Breakfast is 3-course and homemade, and complimentary drinks and snacks are served inside or out every evening. There's also free off-street parking.
