Built in 1749 this elegant Grade II listed Georgian country residence, situated in the Lake District National Park, has many period features, providing excellent luxury accommodation, all set within an acre of mature, private and sunny gardens. Situated only minutes away from the Irish Sea and the Western Lake District's lakes and mountains, Carleton Green is an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful unspoilt area. The picturesque village of Holmrook is ideally situated for the fells and also for the coast. The valleys of Eskdale and Wasdale with some of Britain's highest mountains are close by and the coastal village of Ravenglass is just a short distance away. The Ravenglass and Eskdale miniature railway runs from Ravenglass into the Eskdale valley and Muncaster Castle with its beautiful gardens is nearby. For the fisherman there are rivers and for the golfer two small golf courses within driving distance of Carleton Green. Please note we are unable to accepy card payments.
