Housed in whitewashed buildings and cottages dating from the 1890's, this serene lodge is nestled in Chambal Valley, and lies 12 km from Bateshwar archaeological site.
The 12 airy rooms have ceiling fans, and include living areas, private and/or enclosed verandas. Some offer stately period furnishings or gardens. Relaxed cottages add deck chairs and/or hammocks. There's no air-conditioning. Bathrooms have showers and bucket baths.
Buffet meals are included. There's also a lounge and a library with board games. Activities include nature walks and lawn games such as cricket. There are on-site generators.
