This Gothic-revival guesthouse, remodelled in the 1840s from a 1706 manor, is set on 2 acres of gardens and woodland on the edge of a modern village. It's 4.2 miles off the A55 road and 10.6 miles from medieval Conwy.
All 8 airy, refined rooms have en suite bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, DVD players and free WiFi, plus tea and coffeemaking facilities.
