Great Cummins Farm is a charming four star silver rated 16th Century thatched farmhouse with plenty of character. Features of this traditional cob house include beamed ceilings and an original fireplace with a bread oven in the dining room. With stunning views across the surrounding farmland, it is in a peaceful yet convenient location. Just five minutes from the A30 and eight miles from Exeter, it is ideal for exploring the Devon coasts, Dartmoor and Exmoor and attractions including The Eden Project, Clovelly and Bude. A working organic farm, it is ideal for children, who can collect eggs from our hens and even bottle feed the lambs in season. You may encounter geese and pigs during a walk around the farm. Our cooked-to-order breakfasts, using farm ingredients where possible, are a specialty. In the evenings, meals are available within walking distance at two pubs in the village of Tedburn St Mary. Cyclists and walkers are welcome - bicycles can be stored in a secure barn. We have two working sheepdogs and welcome visitor's own dogs who are housed outside in their own kennel. Dogs are allowed into the dining room but not into the bedrooms.
