The in 2013 opened Pension House Gretchen Alps located in the district Bönning-Rill between the Alps and Xanten. Our guesthouse is situated in the heart of the beautiful Lower Rhine, just 9 km from the Roman and Siegfried city, the state-approved climatic health resort of Xanten, and has over 1 million visitors annually. Go on an expedition on the ancient paths, or visit the nature Bislicher island.
All rooms in the guesthouse are equipped with a flat-screen TV and soundproofed windows. There are free drinks on arrival. In addition to the booked double rooms are available to our guests for free a fully equipped self-catering kitchen and a lounge with reading area for communal use. For a perfect start to the day, there is free coffee and tea. Free Wi-Fi is also a matter of course with us. For your shopping you can find several supermarkets and cafes close by. The nearest gas station is only 0,5 km from us. With us you can park for free by appointment.
The nearest motorway is the A57 in the Alps and is only 5 km away. From there we continue towards Dusseldorf / Krefeld or Nijmegen / Netherlands. Alternatively, you can access via the B58 in Wesel the A3 motorway towards Duisburg / Cologne and Arnhem / Netherlands. It is about 50 km from the Dusseldorf airport. To Airport Weeze (Ryanair) a few kilometers less.
