Offering spacious suites and boasting an indoor swimming pool, hot-spring baths and Western and Japanese cuisine, Hotel Kawakyu is a 5-minute drive from Shirahama Beach and a 10-minute drive from JR Shirahama Train Station.
Each suite at Kawakyu Hotel comes with a living room and a separate Western-style bedroom. Both Japanese and Western living areas are offered, the Japanese one with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and floor cushions and the Western one with a large sofa. All suites are air-conditioned and have an LCD TV, a fridge, an electric kettle, slippers, and a private bathroom with a bathtub.
The hotel is just a 10-minute drive to Adventure World animal park, and provides free on-site parking. A free shuttle runs from JR Shirahama Train Station at fixed times (see Important Information), and must be reserved at time of booking.
Both indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths are available, and guests can also relax at the sauna or indulge in a massage. Other facilities include a fitness room and a gift shop. Free Wi-Fi is available at the lobby.
A set-menu Western breakfast and dinner are served at Fornace dining room. Hachisen and Shikishima restaurants serve Japanese cuisine. |
