A royally licensed inn from 1801thoroughly renovated in 2008. Situated in the magnificent mid-Jutland lake highlands with the Himmelbjerg lakes and the vast forests. Hiking tours through woodland and fields can begin right outside the inn. There are Child-friendly beaches at the lake Knudsoe and rental of canoes - kayaks and rowboats in Ry. Five golf courses within a radius of approx. 50 km. All the inns rooms have recently been renovated and each room has bath and toilet. You can choose between standard rooms with a terrace in the annex next to the inn and luxury rooms in the inns main building. These rooms with a balcony and a good view all differ as each room has its own distinct theme.

You are certain to notice it when driving through the village Noerre Vissing on the highway from Skanderborg and north towards Hammel. today the 200-year old inn which was renovated from top to bottom a couple of years ago greets the travellers with its brightly shining lavender blue walls.

It all began with an illicit tavern here at the crossroads in Noerre Vissing. It was a good place to stop and have a chat while eating salted herrings with a good mug of beer and one or two drinks of aquavit. In 1801 the inn moved to its present spot and at the same time the inn was royally licensed.

Today the innkeepers name is Morten Mygind and when entering the inn you cannot help noticing that he likes the blue colour very much - the restaurant has been painted in grey and blue colours and the garden room is a delight to the eye with its nuances of cobalt blue and lavender blue colours. You quickly detect that the chef has great creative skills and only uses the best ingredients.

While sitting in the restaurant you will detect that the menu among other things offers a sense menu of the season. The chef uses to a wide extent local ingredients such as zander - pike and perch from the lakes and mushrooms-snails and game from the woods.
