Our large, comfortable guesthouse, and friendly atmosphere in the delightful Black Forest, allows this the whole year. The rooms:Our pension is a historical and renovated Black Forest house over 300 years old. The homy rooms with tiled stove invite you for a stay in nice atmosphere. We spoil you with a rich breakfast buffet. In the evening the guests enjoy good company, a glass of local beer, delicious wine from the region, or a local schnaps. Let the day pass by in a nice society and a back view of expressions from the past events. Bernau is an excellent area for walking, and cycling trips. Also a good base for day trips to Switzerland and France. Quite near are the cities of Freiburg, Basel, Zurich and Strasbourg, also the beautiful Lake Constance and the Rhine cascades at Schaffhausen. Summer in Bernau is very relaxing for walks through the Black Forest. There are plenty of activities for the more adventurous. Paragliding on the nearby hills, swimming, boating and windsurfing in the nearby lakes of Schluchsee and Titisee. In the winter you can go skiing, sledge, or snowboard over the hills surrounding the village. There are also many other skiing areas nearby. For your relaxation we offer you our newly build sauna with rest room!Sledges can be hired from the hosts, all equipment for other activities can be hired in the village.
