This truly Cape Verdian owned and well-managed pension is located overlooking the square of Sao Filipe. It offers ensuite rooms on a bed and breakfast basis. Breakfast is taken in the small breakfast room. Ideal for those, wanting to experience the Cape Verde way of life. The archtitectural style is the traditional Sobrado house, a remain from the portugese colonies. Lovely balconies and high ceilings. The interior is carefully selected, wooden and warm. The rooms are very spacious and full of light. The city of San Felipe distinguishes itself from others in the archipel. Very peaceful and quiet with the feeling of a mercantil and colonial city. the locals are very charming and this pension is run by a cape verdian lady. A good choice for its central situation this pension offers good value for money. Nearby are restaurants and bars.
