Also in Bellingham, we recommend the victorian walk to Hareshaw Lin the spectacular local waterfall. The Woollen Mill at Otterburn is popular with visitors 8 miles east. Pony trekking, cycling, windsurfing, sailing and ferry trips are only a small sample of the many outdoor activities that can be arranged at Kielder Water - Northern Europe's largest man made lake - which is cradled by Kielder Forest Park, nearby. The historic market town of Hexham, dominated by its majestic abbey is only 17 miles away and the ancient town of Morpeth is 25 miles east.
