This quaint country house hotel occupies a 1700s coaching inn overlooking Loch Alvie in the Cairngorms National Park. It's a mile from the A9 road and 4 miles from Aviemore.
The 12 airy, individually styled rooms feature flat-screen TVs, high-end linens and tea and coffeemaking facilities. Some have sleigh beds, and 1 has a kid's room with bunk beds.
