Located at the heart of the historic market town of Bideford, adjacent to the town centre and situated on the river front opposite the ancient stone bridge. The hotel is perfectly situated for both business and pleasure. An historic, grade II Listed building, gracefully brought into the 21st Century whilst retaining its 18th Century features and charms, Including salvaged oak beams and bay sash windows. The hotel boasts more than 50 en-suite bedrooms many with fantastic estuary views from its waterfront location and all with the comforts expected of todays modern traveller. Family rooms are available on request. The Hotel also offers a cosy and comfortable Bar to relax and unwind in or why not try our newly refurbished restaurant that offers an array of tasty dishes using mostly freshly locally sourced produce. There are few places in Britain that lay claim to such a beautiful combination of stunning landscapes. A coastline of spectacular cliffs, secret coves and golden beaches together with a hinterland of wild moorland, sparkling river valleys and lush rolling hills. The hotel is the perfect base to explore all of this and more. Free Wi-Fi is available for guests in the reception area. Lift available to most floors. Due to the high street location, the hotel does not have an allocated car park however, Please note that there is free parking adjacent to the hotel from the hours of 4pm and 9am. |
