Location. The Breeden Inn Cottages & Retreat on Main is located in the historic district of Bennettsville, S.C. The inn is one mile from Lake Wallace, which offers a three mile roundtrip walking trail with views of the lake. Golf and tennis are available within one mile at the Marlboro Country Club.
Features. This property contains four 19th century homes in a village setting. Brick and gravel walks with resting benches and koi ponds connect the houses and wind through the woodland and garden areas. Ornate iron gates and picket fencing lend to very private surroundings. Full, complimentary breakfasts are served daily in the in the English dining room, three of the parlors and on the veranda. Wireless Internet access is provided throughout the inn. Laundry facilities and a guest kitchen are available. Ornate oak, pine and stained glass archways are featured throughout the inn. Additional amenities include an outdoor pool, six southern porches with swings and rockers, and bicycle rentals. Pets are not allowed.
Guestrooms. The Breeden Inn Cottages & Retreat on Main includes 10 guestrooms and three suites. All guest accommodations include private bathrooms. Select rooms feature two person jetted tubs. Cable television, VCRs and DVD players are included. All units feature oak and heart pine flooring, and artwork. Down comforters and women's and men's bathrobes are provided. Complimentary personalized items, including natural glycerin and oatmeal soaps, herbal bath grains and bubble bath, are included.
