Set on a cliff-top with views of Cardigan Bay, this 1892 gothic-style Victorian hotel with stained-glass windows and wood panelling is a mile from Barmouth Harbour and 10 miles from Harlech Castle.
Quaint rooms, most with sea views, feature en suite bathrooms, tea and coffeemaking equipment, flat-screen TVs and DVD players. Some have 4-poster beds. There's stair-only access.
