Waang Backpackers is a budget motel that accommodates for both international and local backpackers. It is located in Tambunan within the Borneo Heritage Village (formerly known as Tambunan Village Recreational Centre).Natural offerings are laid out to visitors comprising of the scenic Pegalan River which runs through the area and an environment crafted out by nature offering peace and tranquility, most suited for those seeking inspiration in their endeavors. The surrounding trees and natural vegetation within the area produces the 'cooling effect' which is refreshing and reinvigorating. The motel stands on a hill offering a panoramic view. Mt. Trusmadi the second highest mountain in Malaysia is located in Tambunan. Its' rugged terrain and mountainous landscape is an ideal playground for those who seek extreme adventure in the tropics!
