Set in a Victorian mansion with views over woods and mountains, this no-nonsense hostel is 3 miles from the Watkin Path (leading up Snowdon), 4 miles from the village of Beddgelert and 10 miles from the Snowdon Mountain Railway.
No-frills rooms range from private rooms with en suite bathrooms to dorms with bunk beds. Some have views over the gardens and the mountains of Snowdonia.
There's free parking. A breakfast buffet is available (fee) and the restaurant also serves dinner at a set time (kids eat free with a paying adult). There's also a relaxed lounge/bar and a guest kitchen. Other amenities include a laundry and a drying room.
