The city of Grand Junction is located in Mesa County, Colorado, USA. The city has an excellent climate, which is mild even in winter. Among the area's most important attractions, we recommend visiting the Colorado National Monument, where you can see some splendid rock formations such as arches and canyons which are more than a million years old. You can also visit the Grand Mesa National Forest, a lovely park with streams, lakes, plains and mountains. It is an ideal place for those who enjoy camping and fishing. Another popular excursion from the city is a visit to a winery, where you can see how these excellent wines are produced, and maybe have a tasting. You can also do adventure sports. The Colorado River is good for rafting, and if you want to try out something more tranquil, you can go walking in some of the fantastic scenery that Grand Junction offers. The city has some historic buildings, and a variety of hotels, restaurants, a theatre and a range of shops to choose from. Grand Junction has everything!
