Salem is the capital of the state of Oregon and lies along the Willamette River. The Salem Art Fair and Festival is held every summer at Bush's Pasture Park and includes various exhibits, food and entertainment The World Beat Festival is held in Salem every June. The Oregon State Fair, every August until Labour Day, is the most popular and largest event in Salem and is held at the State Fairgrounds in the North.
