Located in a quiet alley in the heart of the Old City of Damascus, near all the amazing attractions of Damascus, Beit Zafran Hotel is housed in a beautifully restored 19th century home that offers its guests a unique historic setting and most comfortable experience. The house dates back to 1836 and is located in the Bab Tuma area of the Old Town of Damascus. We have meticulously restored it over the course of several years with the aim of turning it into a fine luxury boutique hotel while maintaining its original structure and soul. The 12 rooms and suites are located around two inner courtyards with their marble fountains and lemon trees. Furthermore, there are the traditional summer liwan (open sitting area), the old reception hall (qa'a) with its 9-meters painted and crafted ceilings and a stunning roof terrace for breakfasts and dinners with a splendid view over the old and new town of Damascus. The hotel's 12 rooms and suites all boast individual personalities and while some feature their own private terrace, others display their original hand-painted ceilings or offer a magnificent view to the courtyard. For guests with private laptop, the hotel features free wireless Internet access in all lodgings.
