Set amidst an ancient acacia forest inside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Lemala Ngorongoro is an intimate tented camp located on the rim of a crater.
The camp offers spacious canvas tents, equipped with a seating area, en suite bathroom with shower and toilet, complimentary water, gas heater and tea-and-coffee making facilities. Each tent has 2 large queen size beds.
All meals are included and served in the dining area or outdoors. There is also a bar area. Guests can relax or read a book in the shared lounge furnished with sofas, rugs and old wood cabinets. A campfire is lit in the evenings.
The camp has limited laundry facilities.
An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including hiking, game drives and walking safaris. Lake Manyara Airport is 1.5 hours drive away.
