Built of stone in the 1880s, this elegant B&B is 3 minutes' walk from Betws-y-Coed railway station in North Wales' Snowdonia National Park.
The 7 stylish rooms, some with 4-poster beds and/or original Victorian fireplaces, feature free WiFi, flat-screen TVs, tea and coffeemaking facilities, and en suite bathrooms. All have views of the surrounding wooded hills and are stair-access only. Some add sitting areas.
Breakfast is served in a warm dining room, which provides valley views. Free amenities include parking, bike storage and a drying room. There's also a lounge with a fireplace offering books and maps. Kids age 5 and up are welcome.
