The Alantha Apartments is a small and friendly run complex situated in a quiet street just five minutes from the town centre and a three-minute walk to a sandy beach. Offering clean, comfortable and relaxing surroundings, this is a terrific complex for couples and families with 34 fully air-conditioned first class self-catering apartments and large studio rooms, each furnished and decorated to a very high standard. Guests to the Alantha Apartments can discover marvellous beaches and sleepy villages along with a wide array of shops, restaurants, traditional tavernas and attractions in nearby Agios Nikolaos town. Heraklion International Airport is a 65 km from the hotel.
Local Tips: Famous attractions include the archaeological sites at Knossos, Phaistos, Gortys. Many other places, such as the Venetian castle in Rethymno, the Samaria Gorge and many other minor gorges (Agia Irini, Aradena, etc), are also of interest.
Getting to the hotel: Airport to hotel transfers can be booked at Transfers4u.com. Please note that coach/shuttle transfers cannot take customers directly to the hotel due to its location in a narrow street up a steep hill. Clients get dropped off 300 metres away from the hotel and must make their own way up the steps. Private transfers are door to door.
