The 'Antico Casale Il Piccione' is a fascinating farmhouse built in 1400.It was designed to be the residence of some friars devoted to collecting officinal herbs. It is in the middle of a large 20.000 acre estate, with woods and valleys. It's only 1km away from the medieval village, among the hills of the southern Maremma . The farmhouse has plenty of open space all round it, and its guests can enjoy different facilities: a private swimming-pool, trekking and naturalistic walks, mountain bikes, the nearby riding school.
