Located in Downtown Logan, West Virginia, the Aracoma Hotel is one of West Virginias Historic Inns. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, the Rockefellers, and many leaders in the Coal Industry. Its' rich history heralds back to the days where it was the command center during the Mine Wars in 1921. Today the switchboard they used is on display at the Cultural Center at Chief Logan State Park. As one of the headquarters for the Kennedy's during the historic primary victory for JFK in West Virginia, the Aracoma Hotel is definitely a historic landmark and Jewel of West Virginia lore. The hotel features rooms with a rugged allure for the coal miners of the region as well as refurbished rooms for out of town folk passing by or on business.
