Year Built 2008 Additional Property Description 1 About Kanha National Park Kanha is one of Indias largest national parks covering 2000 square km and is located in the Maikal Hills of the Satpura Hill range in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The park has beautiful areas of Sal forests, large bamboo stretches and lush green meadows. Here in the central park, lands collect herds of spotted deer, gaur, sambar and the highly endangered barasingha. Along with them live the wild pigs, the shy barking deer and big troops of langur which never fail to entertain. Smaller predators like jackal and jungle cat are an exciting sight as the top predators the tiger, leopard and the wild dogs. Possibilities of chance encounters with nocturnal wild life like sloth bears, porcupine or the black nape hare always keep your hopes alive. 2 About Banjaar Tola The lodge is situated along the banks of the Banjaar River directly overlooking the heart of Kanha National Park. It consists of 2 elegant camps of 9 tented suites each. Each camp has its own intimate tented sitting area with a swimming pool. The luxurious yet lightweight tented have been designed in a contemporary style canvas wall panel, gorgeous bamboo floors and locally craft furniture. 3 Location Kanha National Park is easily accessible either from Jabalpur followed by a 4 5 hrs chauffeured road transfer or from Nagpur followed by a 6 hrs chauffeured road transfer to the lodge. 4 The Taj Safaris Experience As part of the exclusive wildlife experience our guests can enjoy twice a day jungle safaris in a specially designed open air safari vehicle with and beyond trained naturalists, tiger viewing on elephant back, guided nature walks, cultural walks, birdwatching, and picnics in nearby wooded areas. 5 Children under 3 years cannot participate on the game drives.
