Winter Park's first lodging establishment, Beaver Lodge is nestled in the foothills of the Continental Divide adjoining the Arapaho National Forest. Affectionately known as The Beav's, Beaver Lodge is perfectly located 1½ miles from the Winter Park Ski Area on the free shuttle route, just a couple of blocks from downtown.
Beaver Lodge is a classic ski lodge with it's roots in the Old West. It opened on Thanksgiving Day in 1940, the same year the Winter Park Ski Area, and has been offering comfortable accommodations and friendly service ever since.
A Winter Park Tradition, and popular also as pet friendly lodging, Beaver Lodge has earned a reputation for catering to groups, families and individuals alike from all over the world. A warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere is assured.
