Lost in the Haut Languedoc National Park at the foot of the Black Mountains in the Midi-Pyrénées, is this magnificent Castle. Recently restored Château d'Aiguefonde regained its splendor and charm of the 18th century. Each room is individually furnished adorned with a private bathroom. Breakfast is served in the French garden (designed by Le Nôtre). Dinners are enjoyed around the pool with views of the garden and the illuminated fountains. In the surroundings you find Cathar castles, museums Castres, Albi, Carcassonne and Toulouse, and a golf course (18 holes). But you may as well enjoy the quiet garden and the English park with fountains and waterfalls offer.
