Cromwell's Inn is a privately owned ancient building in the centre of Shrewsbury offering comfortable modern accommodation. It boasts a snug Wine Bar and beautiful Restaurant and an amazing walled Garden that is the envy of the town. A local couple, Mike and Karen Avery, bought the building and ongoing business in June 2010. They have invested in major improvements to make our guests' stay even more welcoming. Recent improvements made in December 2010 include; secondary glazing to all road facing bedrooms fitted with special acoustic glass to reduce town centre noise and a new heating installation. More improvements are being planned. Our Restaurant offers first class locally sourced food cooked and prepared with passion. We are a Freehouse and choose our own beers and wines from international, national and local producers. We have a selection of Rooms offering a comfortable stay for our guests. We have two Rooms with beautiful Four Poster beds. Our Staff are friendly and professional and this is the key to our success.
