Damara House is the first house within the Padstow town boundary and is bounded on the west side by fields. It is tranquil and peaceful offering stunning, uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside while still being only a 10 minute stroll down to the harbour. We are a VisitBritain 4 Star Rated B&B located in cornwall. All rooms have an en suite shower room and modern decor. The house is at the end of a quiet cul de sac, with a large garden and stream running down the side, which makes it a very quiet place to be. Also there are no street lights at the end of the cul de sac so you can see the stars! All guests have use of the dining room throughout the day which doubles as a lounge. Facilities include TV, microwave, fresh fruit, books, maps, tourist information leaflets and board games. Bicycles may be stored overnight in the lockable garage. There is a Tesco situated a few yards away and a microwave is provided in the dining room for guest's use. For this reason we do not provide evening meals or packed lunches. We have no pets and only accept guide dogs. We do not have facilities for children under 12 and guests are requested not to entertain non residents in the property. No check in after 9pm unless by prior arrangement. Please note that building work on a new housing estate in the field immediately adjacent to our property commences in September 2010. The rooms most affected will be the Petroc and Lodenek rooms as these look into the field. Full details are on our main website. |
