Housed in a grand building dating from 1915 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this posh B&B is set on 4.5 acres of landscaped grounds, and is 1.5 miles from US Route 74 and 2.4 miles from downtown Charlotte.
The individually decorated rooms have elegant furnishings and decor, en suite bathrooms, and plush beds with fine linens and goose-down pillows. They also include free Wi-Fi, and TVs with DVD players. Some add whirlpool tubs and/or sleeping porches.
