This grand hotel and restaurant in a Georgian manor is set in 20 acres of woodland by a waterfall on the River Forss. It's 1.4 miles from the coast and 4.7 miles from the A9 at Thurso.
Plush, country-style rooms in the main house or an annexe are individually decorated with antique furnishings. All offer free WiFi and TVs, plus en suite bathrooms, while annexe rooms have doors to a patio. Upgraded rooms provide minifridges, fruit and toiletries.
