In addition to the polo club and other equestrian, golfing and country sports to be enjoyed within the area, the resort itself offers a wide variety of opportunities for leisure and entertainment. The Club House features a friendly bar, and a cousy restaurant La Pancitta serving international and local-style cuisine. Also available as other Club facilities are a gymnasium with cardio-fitness equipment, SPA, swimming pool, discotheque (bar and snooker), cinema, conference room, and its own 18 luxury suites. A spectacular Polo Pony Simulator, with three different movements is available for classes, for those who pretend to start this exciting sport as weel as for polo player s looking to improve their style.. The Club also ownes 120 polo ponies available for our guests. The finest beaches in Portugal are half an hour driving from the Resort, with typical beach restaurants where fresh fish and shellfish are waiting for you while for those seeking a fresh water private beach on the shores of a lake, La Varzea can offer that too. There is also a lake for fishing and another is planned to provide water sports very soon. Lisbon City Tours and boat circuits along Tejo River are available for appointment. |
