Set among forests and overlooking the Sabie River, this posh country lodge (with surrounding cottages) in the mountains of the Drakensberg Escarpment is 4 km from the village of Sabie and 7 km from Lone Creek Falls.
The polished rooms and suites (open to guests 12 and up) all offer river views and feature ceiling fans, as well as balconies or patios. Suites add separate lounge areas with fireplaces. Children of all ages are welcome in the airy cottages, which have living rooms with kitchens or kitchenettes, as well as BBQs. Some have decks.
