Rural Mas Quemado started life as two XVIII century stone masias, or farmhouses today the two stone masias, have been fully and tastefully restored, linked by a glass atrium home to an informal lounge, bar and cafeteria area, complete with log fire and those all important views, allowing the sun to flow through the heart of the building by day and the stars to illuminate it by night. The masias offer twelve double bedrooms all complete with private en-suite bathroom and television, and all with exterior views. three of the rooms also offer an attic where there is an additional sleeping area (one with single bed and two with double beds) making them ideal for children. The masias are perfectly prepared to face the cold winter of the Teruel Sierra thanks to a solar system, central heating and good thermal insulation. Special mention has to be made to the magnificent panoramic views from windows in different areas of the masia, through the prevailing stone and wooden beams. Mas Quemado also makes available a large games room where you can play chess, billiards or darts, another room with fireplace where you can read quietly or watch television, and a small but interesting library for book lovers. The attractiveness of Mas Quemado lies in its natural stone surrounded by mountains, grassed meadows and the river Sollavientos, all located close to the small town of Allepuz located about 1474 meters above sea level and some 7 miles from the popular ski resort of Valdelinares 1626 meters above sea level making it an ideal base from which to enjoy this region all year round, cycling, mountain biking, fishing, horse riding, hiking and walking during summer and then snow sports and skiing during winter. Two airports service this area, Valencia and Zaragoza with a number of the new economy airlines having daily flights to the UK, Europe and internal flights. Travel time from Valencia and Zaragoza airports is an hour or so away.
