Once a grain store, Nether Grange is located in the centre of the quiet harbour village of Alnmouth in Northumberland. The country house, designated non-smoking, has 26 en-suite bedrooms, equipped with a hairdryer, clock radio and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Televisions and telephones are not provided in the bedrooms. Non en-suite bedrooms are also available. The country house has a dining room with stunning sea views and the croquet lawn extends the length of the house to a delightful sun terrace overlooking a golf course and the beach. Guests can relax in the bar, lounge and conservatory. Meals are served in an informal, friendly atmosphere at tables for up to eight guests. A three-course dinner is served at 7 to 7.30pm for a charge of 18 GBP per person. If you would like to dine at the country house please contact the house before 6pm to make your dinner reservation. A choice of full English or continental breakfast is offered. To allow you to make the most of your touring or walking holiday, a self-select picnic lunch can be provided for the small charge of 10 GBP per person. Street parking is subject to availability. Please notify the country house in advance if you intend to arrive after 10.30pm. Bedrooms are available from 2.30pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure. The country house is an excellent base for those on an activity or walking holiday interested in discovering Northumberland's Heritage Coast or Coastal Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Other nearby attractions include Eldingham castle. Bamburgh castle, Druridge Bay Country Park and the holy island of Lindisfarne. This country house as a 4-star Visit Britain rating.
