Established in 1870, Ryotei Ryokan Yasui was is located little over an hour from Kyoto Station. It houses 3 different public baths including an outdoor bath. This ryokan boasts a Japanese garden, which can be seen from all guest rooms.
All rooms have Japanese décor with tatami (woven-straw) flooring, shoji sliding doors and a seating area. Flat-screen TVs are also fitted in all rooms and Japanese-style yukata robes are provided to guests. Most rooms feature a private bathroom.
Guests can enjoy the beautiful garden outside and shop for Japanese treats at the souvenir shop. The ryokan has an indoor and outdoor public bath. Spacious banquet rooms are available upon request.
Just a 10-minute drive from Hikone Station, Yasui Ryotei Ryokan offers free shuttle service from the station. Both the historic Biwa Lake and Hikone Castle are a mere 10-minute drive from the hotel.
