Set on a vast lake near the Sani Pass, this low-key, remote lodge is 5 km from the Drakensberg mountains in the Mkhomazi Wilderness Area.
The 11 airy, lakeside chalets feature decks, kitchens, and living rooms with fireplaces, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows, BBQ grills and flat-screens TVs. All have 1 or 2 bedrooms, and lake and/or mountain views. Some add beds in kids' nooks, while others offer sofabeds and sleep 6 guests. In-room massages, dining and private chefs are available.
Breakfast and dinner are offered (fee). The clubhouse has a dining room, and a bar with a verandah. There's also a spa, plus boat, kayak and fishing rod rentals.
