Sunhaven Beach Bungalows is a quiet, secluded adult only property located right on the beach on the western sunset side of Rarotonga away from the main road traffic. The lagoon directly in front is home to all sorts of marine life and offers excellent snorkelling. From July to November you can watch whales from your own private verandah frolicking with their new born calves within a stones throw of the reef. The stretch of pure white sand beach lined with mature coconut palms offers plenty of opportunities for an idyllic afternoon snooze under the palms in a tree strung hammock. Read a book or simply watch the waves crashing over the reef. In the late afternoon, enjoy a glass of wine as you watch an amazing tropical sunset disappear over the horizon. Sunhaven Beach Bungalows is a small family run boutique property offering just eight beachfront rooms and one garden room. These range from studio layout to one bedroom bungalows and suites, some with A / C option available (not included in rates). They cater mostly for couples, and offer a quiet secluded atmosphere, total relaxation and privacy. The suites and bungalows can sleep up to four adults. The suites are the most spacious and more suitable for four persons. Property features include - UV sterilized 100% safe tap drinking water (NO chemicals), free off street parking, large freshwater swimming pool, poolside BBQ, hammocks, sun loungers, floating pool loungers, tour desk, guest book and DVD library, on-site vehicle rentals, laundry service, hair dryer available, complimentary kayaks, snorkelling gear and reef shoes, on-site manager.NOTE: ADULTS ONLY PROPERTY.
