Inaugurated in 2003, The Baltic Star Hotel is part of the National Congress Palace in Strelna, which is located in the park area of Saint-Petersburg on the picturesque coastline of The Gulf of Finland, approximately 20km from the city centre. This modern and comfortable hotel occupies a historical building next to the unique architectural ensemble of the Konstantinovsky Palace and Gardens, the official residence of Vladimir Putin. Guests are welcome to taste the best of Russian and European cuisine at the Russian Versalia restaurant or enjoy Italian fine dining at the Northern Venice restaurant. The Breeze lobby bar is an ideal place to relax over a cup of coffee or some light snacks. The hotel boasts excellent facilities, including a beauty centre, an indoor pool, separate saunas for men and women, hairdressing and beauty treatments, gym, solarium, gym and a billiards room. The usage of the fitness centre is complimentary for the hotel guests. The standard room is modest in size but cosy and comfortable. It consists of a hall, a bedroom with a king-size bed, a wardrobe with an embedded safe, and a bathroom with a bathrobe and slippers. Some bathrooms in standard rooms have windows. The rooms come well equipped with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay, including an Internet data port.
