Built by a railroad tycoon in 1886, this eco-conscious Queen Anne-style B&B is a 3-block walk from galleries on Canyon Road and a 4-block walk from Santa Fe Plaza.
Individually decorated rooms and suites feature such design details as stained glass and hand-carved woodwork. Some offer 4-poster beds, handmade quilts and bay windows. Suites are in a separate pitched-roof building. Rooms have iPod speaker systems. WiFi is free.
