Slano is a small and picturesque town located 22 km northwest of Dubrovnik. This place is rich in historical and cultural monuments like the Roman sarcophagi from the 5th century, the Franciscan convent from the 14th century, the palace of the counts, many small churches and chapels, and Renaissance and Baroque buildings.
