Locanda Dei Mai was originally a XV Century medieval settlement with a square - post office - chemists shop and grain storehouse - This was transformed into a country estate by the chemist himself and today his descendants have converted this estate into a delightful luxury 4-star hotel. The hotel retains its original charm with features such as the tower - courtyard with well and veranda. The dining room is remarkable for its XV Century frescoes discovered during renovation work and a XVI century fireplace. |
