The lodge offers you an amazing view over a round craterlake in which you can swim or take a tour by kayak. Run by a Belgian and an Ethiopian lady, there are 8 rooms in traditional style, 2 on piloti near the lakeside and one treeroom. Debre Zeit offers 26 degres the whole year, with sun , low humidity and no malaria. Only one hour of the capital. We can pick you up at the airport or in the capital. We also organise tours in the country. Fresh fish and vegetables from the local farmers are in our restaurant. 6 other craterlakes in the surroundings and an Olympic Swimmingpool at 3 km. Our lodge is small and we have a familystyle approach to make you feel good in this country and our lodge. Garden at 4 levels in which you can see many big tortoises and 50 different african birds in 24 hours. Specially for birdwatchers, we know nice places in the surroundings. Fishing is also possible in the transparant water of the lake. Tilapia and Catfish are there.
