The original building on the corner of 'Albert and Victoria', was built in 1790 for use as a church manse, and then later converted into a hotel. It was extensively renovated and refurbished in 2000. The four guest rooms, each with private facilities, are individually designed and furnished to the highest standards. The landscaped garden contains a paved pergola and sun terrace for outside dining on warmer days. At Churches, great emphasis is placed on quality dining. The regularly changing menu, entirely dependent on what fresh catch is landed daily in Eyemouth Harbour uses only the finest produce and offers a selection of inspiring seafood. Meat dishes must be ordered in advance when booking tables in the restaurant. The relaxed dining atmosphere in the conservatory, which has views over the harbour is perfect to enjoy the local fresh fish and shellfish. The residents' lounge is the perfect place to unwind in luxurious surroundings and enjoy tea, coffee or drinks before and after dinner.
