Welcome to the Papillon Woodhall Arms where your stay is guaranteed to be a memorable one... A welcoming atmosphere for a quiet drink during the week or buzzing and warming at weekends. The Papillon has well cared for real ales, including the regulars: young's bitter and greene king's ipa as well as guest beers enable us to be in the good beer guide. Our bar menu is a traditional menu and provides an Eclectic mix of bar meals whether it is for a light snack or a good old english pub lunch or evening meal. (not available on saturday nights). Just a 5 minute drive away from the beautiful county town of hertford, yet in the heart of a thriving Community providing some idyllic views for patrons. Within walking distance, you will find a children's park, wooded area with public footpath and the deeply historic st mary's parish church. Local attractions include, Knebworth house, castle hall, Hatfield house, Lea valley park, paradise park (zoo and adventure world), St albans cathedral, roman theatre verulamium.
