The Old Rectory is a delightful boutique hotel near Norwich located in Thorpe St Andrew in the Yare Valley. It is easy to get to the hotel from Norwich City Centre and the railway station by car, bus or taxi, and Norwich International Airport is only a 5-mile drive away. The Norfolk Broads National Park is also nearby too. If you are searching for an English country house hotel, then The Old Rectory is sure to fit the bill. It is located in a Grade II listed Georgian building dating back to 1754 set in its own grounds with mature trees, well-trimmed lawns and lots of birds. Some of the hotel's well-appointed rooms are situated in a charming Victorian coach house adjacent to the main building. The Old Rectory Hotel is an excellent place to dine. Tea, coffee, cakes and scones covered with Norfolk jam are served every afternoon between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., while you must not miss out on the 3-course dinner each evening in the candlelit dining room, which has been awarded 2 AA rosettes. In the grounds, you will also find an outdoor swimming pool, which is open from Easter to the end of September.
